Message	i drive a 90TT, manual. this is my first car with a manual. my question is, how does the clutch work? please dont flame. lately my car has been feeling kind of sluggish. some people have told me it had been my clutch. im using a stock clutch, and the previous owner replaced it with an OEM clutch at 40K when i bought the car. now its at 110K. i also used up 1 bottle of nitrous using the stock clutch, and now my clutch feels very weak and seems like it doesnt grab that good. i already ordered a RPS street clutch and plan on installing it sometime this week. is the clutch's job only to change into gear? or does it play a role while in gear and i floor it? can a bad clutch affect my performance through out the power band or it only affects it while changing to gears? i know these are dumb questions, but im still learning.
